Great service, and the poke did not disappoint. Coming in with high poke standards, I was hesitant. After leaving, I had no regrets. The shoyu tuna and crab Mac salad was excellent.

My go-to poke spot! The fish is always fresh, and I keep coming back for their mac salad—they mix in their own smoked salmon, which gives it a unique flavor you don’t find everywhere. I also appreciate that they offer brown rice as an option.
One thing that really sets them apart is that they consistently have fish available throughout the day. A lot of poke places seem to sell out well before closing, which can be frustrating, but I’ve found this spot to be much more reliable. This place always seems well stocked, making it easy to stop by whenever I’m craving poke.
On a nice day, I love grabbing a bowl to go and enjoying it at Seward Park nearby. Great food, reliable quality.

Seattle Fish Guys serves some of the best poke in the Seattle area. The fish is always fresh and high quality, and you can’t go wrong with any selection. The combo plates offer great variety and better value. It’s a popular counter-service spot with limited indoor seating, and a few parking spaces are available in the attached lot and underground garage.

Seattle Fish Guys is an easy 5 stars from me.
These days, I usually come here for the poke bowls, but I’ve tried all kinds of things on the menu over the years. Pictured here are the crab cakes, and they’re absolutely delicious.
One thing I really appreciate is the story behind the business. The owners previously worked at Pike Place Market and are third-generation Asian Americans from Seattle. You can tell they care about quality and their craft.
If it’s your first time, the seafood counter can feel a little intimidating, especially when it’s busy. Don’t feel rushed. Take your time, look around, and ask questions if you have them. Seattle can sometimes feel a little fast-paced, but once you get past that, the food is absolutely worth the wait.
There are outdoor tables available year-round. During the warmer months, they’re one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal. On those rare sunny Seattle days, it’s a great spot to sit outside, while the colder, rainy months make it a little less inviting.
I’ve since moved away from the city, so I don’t get to visit as often as I used to, but every time I’m back, it’s a place I look forward to. I only wish they’d open a location on the west side so I could enjoy it more often.

an absolute seattle staple. amazing quality fish and seafood. my absolute favourite is the sweet shoyu salmon. the poke and sashimi selections are available year round, but a lot of more specialty items like uni, crab, scallop, you'll have to wait until it's in season or if they received a catch. if you see it today, it does not mean it will still be there by the end of the week!

Be prepared to leave this place smelling very fishy, you'll leave a... fishy guy...
In all seriousness, the folks here are so lovely and kind. You're treated to free samples right off the bat and their smoked salmon is some of the best I've tasted. We came here for the Poke and wow, the spicy creamy ahi had more of a kick than I thought but it was some of the best poke in Seattle and the portions were generous even for a single.
The folks here also love dogs so feel free to bring in your furry friends especially now since the weather is warming up and they have outdoor seating.

I can’t believe I’ve never stopped here before. Referred to me by a friend and now my number one poke spot. Incredibly affordable, super fresh, delicious and generous portions. The staff was very friendly, they had ample seating outside if that’s your vibe. They had a line but it moved quickly. I loved the “market” vibe with options of salmon, shellfish, smoked fish and more. My poke bowl was incredible, I can’t wait to come back again!

My wife and I stopped by Seattle Fish Guys during our trip from Vancouver, and we absolutely loved the experience.
Coming from Vancouver, we’re used to having really great sushi and seafood, so we honestly had high expectations — but this place still managed to surprise us in the best way. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and high quality. The spicy ahi tuna, spicy salmon, and crab were all amazing, and the whole experience felt unique and memorable for us.
A huge thank you to Nica as well! She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Her recommendations were excellent and made our visit even better. You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping customers and creating a great atmosphere.
We’re so happy we decided to stop here, and this will definitely be one of the memorable parts of our Seattle trip!

The fish is so fresh and tasty and the price point is incredible. We got the seared salmon belly bowl and a poke bowl with sweet salmon and spicy ahi. The Salmon belly is cooked so if you are expecting raw fish it isn't that, that being said it is amazing. The smokyness of the skin and the fattyness overall makes it super comforting and satisfying.
My favorite was the sweet salmon in my poke bowl! The sauce does not overpower the salmon taste, the spicy ahi is really spicy (for my buds!) but I still enjoyed it. I found that it was harder to taste the tuna under that sauce. The white rice was sticky and delicious.
Will be back again!

I had a great poke lunch experience with a nice variety of flavors across everything we ordered.
We got two bowls—one with shoyu ahi and spicy ahi, over white rice, plus a side of squid salad. The second bowl had shoyu ahi and sweet shoyu salmon over white rice with salmon mac and cheese. We also shared aguachiles verde shrimp, muscles and ceviche.
The aguachiles verde shrimp had a really nice kick to it—spicy but balanced—and was very well done. The ceviche was fresh and super enjoyable.
Both the ahi and salmon pokes were excellent—clean, flavorful, and clearly fresh. The salmon mac and cheese was decent, but not something I’d go out of my way for.
Surprisingly, the standout for me was the squid salad—it had great texture and flavor and really elevated the whole meal.
Customer service was great, which made the experience even better. My wife and I should have shared one bowl. The serving was generous. Overall, I’d definitely go back.
